Coach Ron Murphy from Brooklyn, New York. Coached 36 years  in New Mexico. His overall record of 629-221-4, which ranks coach Murphy as the states winningest high school coach in history. 29 of the 36 seasons as a head coach his teams made the state tournament. He won four stachampionships (2007, 2009, 2013,and 2023).
